They used to use Petite Sirah solely as a blending grape in the Rhone Valley of France, to add intensity and depth of flavor to other wines. But if it adds so much delicious flavor to other wines, why just use it in blends?
The first thing you’ll notice in this big, full-bodied wine is its purple/inky intensity. It has big plum, and blackberry fruit with black pepper, and a leathery finish.
